It's a new year (2008).... in a new country (Mexico)... at a new stage of life (first year out of college).... so why not add to this newness-extravaganza with a new blog (this one) ?! I am approaching my 8-month anniversary since my arrival in Mexico and while I at times feel like it's been a lifetime since I left the comforts of Denison, I am still swept away in a feeling of newness, enchantment and confusion as an outsider in this country.
I'll write more later but for now, I just wanted to get this started and to say, Bienvenid@s to my blog, everyone!
